Why should you use a facial cleanser?

Why should I wash my face?

Have you asked yourself this question? Assuming you don’t know the purpose of face wash, you may be wondering how it’s different from soap and whether it’s important in your skin care routine. You are not alone. This is a common question among those who have discovered the importance of healthy skin and have recently started a skin care regimen. You want to connect the right products; But will the cleaner do the trick? To shed some light on gentle facial cleansers, let’s take a look at some of the more common ones; the difference between cleaning and soap; the best cleansers to buy and how/when to apply face wash.

Value

The benefits are many. Their most important function is to gently cleanse the body of dirt and debris, surface bacteria and environmental toxins. The first impression makes the body calm and relaxed. If used regularly, significant changes can occur within days. Skin texture is smoother and more radiant, while dry skin, spots and wrinkles are reduced. Cleaners also feel balanced when the seasons change. In winter, our skin becomes dry; in summer it produces a lot of oil. Facial cleansers lock in water when it’s cold, and reduce oil build-up when it’s hot.

Facial Cleansing Vs Soap

The reason dermatologists recommend facial cleansers over bar soaps is to lower the pH level. The highest concentration of our skin has a pH of around 5.5. The surface is slightly acidic to make the water in it and germs. Cleansers have a pH similar to our skin, above 5.5. Therefore, it washes germs without drying. Bar soap is said to have a pH of 9, which means it is highly alkaline.

Therefore, alcohol soap will kill bacteria, make the skin dry and dehydrated. This is the main reason why face wash is better than alcohol soap. Soap cleans the skin, but it also releases essential moisture and removes your acid layers.

Organic Cleaners

Now that you know the benefits of washing your face, the next thing you should do is go to the drugstore to buy name brand products. This may seem like a good idea, but first consider one thing: There are many different types of facial cleansers that you find in drugstores.

Why is that? Things that make everything different. Many drugstore cleansers contain active chemicals that can damage your skin. Buying organic cleansers with natural ingredients such as oatmeal, almonds, and essential oils will provide a natural glow that is completely harmless.

Companies that promote all natural products also support the environment as much as your health.

How and when to use a facial cleanse?

You should use a cleanser in the morning and in the evening. This process should include:

  • Facial cleanser
  • Face toner
  • Moisturizer
  • Exfoliator every two weeks

In order for this to work in all areas (reducing blackheads, acne, oil and dry skin) you need to be consistent with these steps.

Step 1- Wash your hands before applying the product to your face. Makeup artist NYC

Step 2- Put a small amount of cleanser between your hands and work it into a lather (not all cleansers create lather). Gently rub it into your skin with your fingers.

Step 3- In circular motions, distribute the cleanser all over your neck and face, ending with your hair. Rinse with cold water until the detergent is completely removed.

Step 4– Gently pat your face with a towel and use a cotton ball to apply facial toner, followed by moisturizer.

These three products, along with a twice-weekly exfoliator or steam treatment, complete an effective skin care regimen.
